I am writing about my friend Pigalle whilst listening to the music the of the composer Francis Lai. His music makes me think of her.

I wanted to do an illustration of her for her birthday. Half French and half Iranian, she is a multi talented artist and a leading talent in Experience Design. Pigalle always gathers an eclectic group of friends around her. With her love of performance, dance, art, retro fashion and burlesque, I think of feathers, flowers, sequins and luscious fabrics whenever I picture her.

Surrounded by flowers holding a feather fan in a dress and shoes similar to what she wears, this illustration makes me remember many fun and interesting times.
