‘The Adventures of Judy, Rosie and the Magic Coat’ is a book rich in detailed illustrations. These are completed before I write the story. This is my technique to have the story expressed visually.  The illustrations help children to learn observation. I draw by hand using coloured pencil and black ink. Referencing photographs of native flora and fauna helps to give the illustrations authenticity of the area where the story is set. 

Having an adventure is always exciting as a child. I hope to take children out of their ordinary lives and transport them into a different world. There is an underlying message of looking after our animals, their environment and the important role they play in ecology.

Included is an animal glossary, helping children to learn their names. 

The books are recommended for children aged 3-8. They can be enjoyed by anyone aged 0-99!
