This is a traditional style Queensland house, designed to be cool in the sub-tropical climate. These houses tend to be built on a large block of land, so Judy and Rosie have a beautiful garden to enjoy.
Judy has a close bond with Rosie, her wire-haired dachshund. As children often do, she confides in Rosie, telling her of her triumphs and troubles. Rosie loves to follow Judy everywhere. She is a protective and loyal dog, the perfect companion.
When the coat appears in her bedroom, Judy doesn’t hesitate to put it on. This is the beginning of the adventure. The coat, shoes, rug and Owl are all connected. Together they ignite the energy to fly.
