My passion for illustration as a form of storytelling.
When I hear a funny story, especially from my family and close friends, I can often picture it as an illustration.
My sister, Anna and her wife, Tina have a beautiful longhaired piebald dachshund, Nashi. An unusual dog, with a loving loyal nature, and a determination to get her own way, which can be shown by warning growls, and soft nips. They adore her naughty personality.
As a dachshund, Nashi is a natural hunter, a protector of her own patch, shared by lizards, frogs, birds, geckos and possums.
Every night, the nocturnal possums, who live in the roof cavity of their house begin their day. Nashi, hearing their noises, will begin to bark, mistakenly sensing danger.
Tina is an allergy sufferer. Anna, complains of being kept awake by the both of them, one sneezing, the other barking.
