After 15 months of illustrating and writing, the manuscript for ‘The Adventures of Tina, Nashi and the Fruit Bats’ is ready to be published. I am so excited to see it as a book.

The adventure is full of problem solving, animals and science. The story is set on the Fraser Coast in Queensland, Australia. It shares the lives of the Fruit Bats who inhabit the region. With increasing urbanisation and farming practices, their roosts and bat camps are under threat and their populations are dwindling. The Fruit Bats play such an important role in the environment. They pollinate flowers and fruits, and spread seeds needed for reforestation.

I hope to inspire respect and care for the Fruit Bats in our communities.
